If you skip over the review part each year, you’re setting yourself up for struggle or even failure. So do that hard thing now, take a good look at what happened for your business last year and use that information to inform your goals for 2021.
At Keep it Sassy this is the biggest lesson we learned from doing our review:
Keep dreaming BIG, but take smaller steps.
We were both incredibly proud of all that we accomplished in 2020, especially with the whole global pandemic situation that required a lot of physical and mental adjustments. But, if we could sum up all of 2020, it would be that we tried to tackle too much.
We achieved a lot of things in 2020 and successfully grew our business. But near the end, we still got burnt out even though we were doing work that we love.
We learned a lot from our End-of-Year Assessment this year. And then we took it a step further to turn our reflections into actionable plans.
